Series

I used to watch Indian series from my childhood until nowadays for time pass and I through this I learned Indian language.

Beside Indian series I used to watch Mexican series in Ajman Channel and this series translated in to Classical Arabic. I think while watching Mexican series translated in to Classical Arabic, it's give us motivation to learn and speak Classical Arabic. It was very funny when my friends and I practice on Classical Arabic, but it was very beneficial for our Arabic courses in the school.

But Nowadays I think Turkish series are the most watched series and used to hear my friends when they talk about this series but I didn’t actually watch them.

Until I watch an advertisement on Dubai TV about a new series called “Harrem Al Sultan” (حريم السلطان) in the Gulf but the real of this series name is “The Magnificent Century”.  This series based on the life of Sulaiman known as Sulaiman the Magnificent, the longest reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire and Hurrem known as Roxelana, the slave girl who become his queen later.

I watch this because I love history and I love to learn about other nation cultures. And beside that I studied about Ottoman Empire, the last empire of the Islamic world in the History course.

I saw the first season and now I am waiting for second which will broadcast on OSN on Tuesday  15^th of May
